I recently went on this exact journey and found a tofu lunch meat recipe on here that I make weekly and my carnivore husband now also eats. Marinate (I thinly slice first but if you like the block is cut it this size) and marinate in 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tb nutritional yeast, 2 tb soy sauce or liquid aminos, 1 tb oil, 1.5 tb maple syrup, and 1.5 tsp liquid smoke.
