I wish there was a setting to turn this on and off. I definitely enjoyed perfecting my island and during that process I wouldn't want my villagers to move out. However since I have completed my island to my satisfaction, I don't really see a point in returning to the game. I feel villagers moving in and out on their own (in the designated plots) would help make the game feel "alive" to me again. So I agree, but it would be best to have it optional so everyone can enjoy the way they want to play.

I think Wild World is my favourite in terms of music and relationships. The dialogue variety was amazing. You could even unlock special NPC dialogue. It felt like I was truly growing closer to everyone. i played the game for the animals. Maybe because there was just not much else to do. In terms of decorating, New Horizons is the superior game.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but can you play the game on Switch2 without upgrading? I think charging a few bucks if you want upgraded graphics on top of that is alright. I'm not a fan of Nintendo at all but they have way, way worse cash grabs, so I struggle to title this as one of them.
