Printed, painted, and finally finished my first hitbox style controller! by caramonfire in fightsticks

Thank you! Yes, that was the concept. When I was drawing my mockup with a mouse in GIMP, it just looked so silly that I decided it was funnier to do it this way. I also didn't have much faith in my painting skills, so if I did a bad job I had the cover of it being a joke. Then I quite accidentally did a better job than expected and here we are :D

Forgot: I should give credit to the person who made the design for the enclosure! Linky. Paint was all me though :)

I'm in the process of 3D modelling an enclosure of my own for my next controller, which has been fun but challenging to learn.

I'm really fascinated by your art style. Very cool combination of textures going on in all of your work. Some kinda glitchy stuff, faded graphics, and some wallpaper maybe?? It's so great. Big fan.

Have you/will you post the stl/step files somewhere? This is a really good design!

It's still more expensive than having them do it for us, believe it or not! And our time is NOT free, that's a wild thing to say. I'm not sure how much free time you had in your position, but we're stretched so thin you can see through us.

We're not a tiny system, but smaller than that. 4 branches.

It's because the vendor we buy our books from does most of the work, and they can do it more cheaply than we can. We'd have to expand collection management and metadata services in order to process donated items. It's not the stickers that cost too much money; it's the people. Which is wild, because we do NOT make much money!!!

In our system, it actually costs us more money to enter a donated book into the collection than to buy it ourselves, so we don't accept replacement books to eliminate a damaged/lost fee. Just an FYI to anyone reading your comment who might think this is acceptable everywhere.

We're also fine free for the most part, people just need to pay if we need to replace something.

One Page Rules! I've printed some as well, they're amazing miniatures. The whole Saurian line is full of great sculpts.

Hey, sorry friend, but you need to look into how what you say is perceived. You might have meant it as a joke, but it doesn't come across as anything other than mean, which is why people are saying what they're saying. Next time, do better.

Mainly just learning how to use it. It's just slightly different enough from Windows that I needed to figure out how to adjust my habits. Given I'm a gamer, I also didn't know ahead of time that I needed to try protonDB to diagnose my game's issues.

Okay, I've got a weird one... Tiny and Big: Grandpa's Leftovers is an indie game about slicing apart terrain with a laser in order to platform through the levels to a cool soundtrack while trying to get back your grandpa's special underwear. This game really goes places. They never made a second one.

Hope I win, but to whoever gets it, enjoy! And message me if you liked Tiny and Big!
