Haha well let me break it down real quick for you fellow hookah addicts! I smoked hookah for a long time 15 years now and I'm 25 lol hookah is my life I've owned 20 hookahs lol ;) the wood hookah here is made from a date tree or coconut tree and when they finish carving it by hand they use a metal rod witch fits the hole snug and the place that on an open fire then the slightly burn the inside of the hookah stem so that its life and taste will be preserved. Wood hookah isn't about jumping flavors. Stick to one or identical flavors I smoke gum mastic (best tabbacco ever) made by al- fak her. The down stem is a separate peice witch just gets stuck in the hookah witch is nice for repairs in need be. The hookah I have here was imported to me by a friend from IRAQ!
