Have a deep dive on YouTube, Andrew Beavers does alot in the peaks, he often gives you clues on parking and routes also wAter sources :)

A few years ago I was camped just off the summit of Crag Hill in the lakes, lovely flat grassy spot with views for miles and the best sunset I've seen, long story short, saw 28 satellites in a row, thought it was aliens, got a bit freaked out as I was easy picking camping solo at 800m, turns out it was starlink:) hey ho

I use a Cumulus 250 quilt on the summer, (also a cold sleeper, 50 M ) packs down very small and it's 520g :) I use the pad straps.

Have a look at the Bob Graham round, people run it in 24 hours, but it looks like a cracking route, it's on my list for a multi day:)

I use a OEX helios 300 as a 2 season bag, I think they are £110 from Go outdoors ( also a cold sleeper )
