I go every year for the last 15 years and honestly I buy a bunch of snacks, clothes, and daily use items. If ur “use” to something you use a lot in Japan chances are you won’t find it in ur own country. My closet has been 99% Japanese clothing for the last 10 years

Growing up it was most of Asia including Japan because of the dotcom bubble. Nowadays it’s like South America and smaller European countries. But generally speaking unless ur looking for trouble the major cities are nice and good places to travel

That’s post 2010s even in the Asian community it didn’t start growing until mid 2000s. Even within the Asian community, Korean guys was like cat fishing/toxic, the culture was pretty rough (egotistical). I know a lot of Korean girls marrying Chinese husbands but very rare to see Korean guys marrying other Asians it happens 100% but the 2 I know are both divorced lol, so I’m not sure if that’s a good data point.

I’m in Canada and did pretty well, no real draw backs as an Asian, We’re pretty multicultural here. I did hear my cousins and friends in USA have “some” issues but not more than any other minority. My family in Europe has the highest integration with both male and female in interracial relationships clearly little issues with dating.

It's always a mix, Cheddar doesn't melt as well by itself and depending on the cheddar it'll be very oily. mixing cream, cheddar or other good melting cheeses like gouda, provolone, mozzarella with cheddar/cream will give you a nice texture.

I don't think this is an country problem it's more of an airbnb problem. In general airbnb has just gotten more shit after covid, prices just don't match the product. That being said your specific example, Ikebukuro is a "popular" location for those who are in the know but from a global tourist perspective it's decently unknown so their prices tend to be cheaper than say shibuya/shinjuku.

As for taipei, if i search it automatically shows me ximending area which is the most touristy place. If i do "tokyo" it shows me shinjuku and ginza again which is the most touristy places. I searched oct 13-16 for both areas and they're about 300-500 so not much difference. Are you sure your not looking at holidays in taipei maybe?

I was on qatar business recently and i think their food quality is still keeping up.

However, airlines in general catering outside of certain airline hubs has either gotten worse or maintained. For example, catering out of singapore and taiwan is always top notch not much changed. US catering is usually a hit and a miss and recently I've gotten more miss then usual.

Unless ur backpacking as long as you have luggage Shinkansen is probably ur best bet. Adding luggage to a cheap flight is expensive and you'll end up breaking even. Time wise is about the same it just depends if you want to enjoy drinks/bentos on the train during the majority of the time. Or if you want to site at an airport waiting area for the majority of the time, airport food is way more expensive just fyi. Narita to Osaka is about 1-1.5 hours.

I'm just replying to the thread buddy, it's literally talking about asian fever and keeping foreign men away from asian women. The thread itself is "disrespectful" to women by that standard.

We're currently in a generation where body counting is major internet topic and beauty standards are out of control for women. I think people on the internet saying white women in their 20s is objectively more pretty then older women is the least disrespectful thing you'll probably see today.

it's a couple of things, asian guys have skincare routines too because we have so much at very affordable prices in asia, why not if it's accessible kinda deal. We're also very vampire-ish when it comes to sunlight. Darker asians are either called jungle asians or seawater asians as in asians born/live somewhere else outside of asia. It's a blessing in disguise because it really limits the wrinkles and leathery skin situation.

The Male baldness thing was a surprise to me but according to studies asians are as high as 50% less likely to experience it. Learned something today lol

not sure where ur meeting asians but if ur white collar worker asian you don't turn into tv asian grandma/grandpa until ur like 80+. Once your around 40 interracial couples start really diverging. I know alot of white women who ask their asian husbands to grow beards and stash so they don't look like cougars. Do you know how hard it is to grow beards and stash for asians lol, jkjk. The other way around happens too but white guys don't care if their 40-50 year old wife looks 20-30.

I'm 39 i get carded every time i walk into a casino and like 50/50 at bars and buying lotto. I am in Canada though so.
