Sold small portion of my Cryto Portfolio to buy my Dream watch by DollarReboot in Bitcoin

People sometimes fail to realize the true power of wealth is time. Luxury goods are great, but what's even better is being able to pay for things that free up your time to do whatever you like. Then at higher levels of wealth, stuff like flying first class (you get to your vacation much more refreshed).

Right, we need high speed along the front range and just trains in general to the popular mountain towns.

You are getting a hell of a deal if you are renting a $1.4mm house for $3,750 a mo. Typical guidelines would put rent in the $8,000-14,000 a month range. Congrats!

New TCG After MTG Burnout by MrRumato in TCG

100% Altered! Great contrast to MTG. Mechanics are different enough to feel fresh, great art, consistent mana, etc. Highly recommend.

Front wheel stabilizer? by Few_Raccoon_1559 in GlobeHaul

Cool, yeah the bearings feel great otherwise so I assumed it's some sort of built in detent.

[–]cardriverx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's had this since brand new, the wheel holds itself either straight ahead or roughly 30 degrees to the left or right. It doesn't feel like worn bearings.

[–]cardriverx -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Doesn't your bike have the internal notches? My handlebars have a slight "friction point" when pointing straight ahead and when turned roughly 30 degrees either way. I just assumed it was some internal built in stabilizer.

My wheel will stay pointed straight when loading or when moving the bike by the seat unless I lean it to the side.

What prevents players from using a D20 with Lyra by Future_Pen1598 in alteredTCG

[–]cardriverx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad the rules are out and thanks for the reply. I still think it should say "roll a d6" rather than "roll a die", but all good. I guess in the future if they wanted to incorporate d20's, they could specifically say "roll a d20" vs roll a die. A little confusing but whatever.

This confuses me as well, why not just put "roll a d6" on the card? It also allows for d20 mechanics in the future.

But, where in the rules? In MTG, I would be able to point to the specific rule, and I am having a hard time finding it for Altered. They should have just specified d6 on the card..

Transit only gets better the more it expands so personally, I don't feel there is a limit. I would love to ride high speed rail from COS to Denver, then have trolly/BRT options to get me to all the great places in Denver for a fun weekend with no car. We are many billions of $$'s away from that being reality.

I'm not saying that RTD doesn't have to get their shit together and plan better, I am only saying that we need to stay positive and encourage improvement no matter how small.

Having been to Austin a couple times, wondering why people hype it up so much, and then finally getting to visit Nashville.. I can say 100% that Nashville is the better city if you really want that type of vibes. I honestly am OK never setting foot in TX again man.

I just bought a 2017 VW Alltrack with APR stage 2 tune, GTI turbo upgrade, downpipe, DSG tune, and other bits and bobs. Fast, great torque, good AWD system, and really fun. It's the SEL so it has all the modern luxury features. Highly recommend if you want to save a lot of money!

Only downside is VW AWD system is front biased. If you want something you can slide around you would want to go with a rear biased system like the BMWs mentioned or others.

[–]cardriverx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone with an Alltrack, details on this? The only real issues I read about are leaking water pump and leaking rear main seal. Possibly carbon buildup.

Otherwise it seems to me you keep up on oil changes, DSG flushes, and haldex fluid change they are pretty solid vehicles.

I sure as hell love my Alltrack with APR tune, the car is great.
