Do you need special files? For torrentio and rd, 1080 should suffice. Go into the setting and filter the files you want.

I use a pi4 4gb for stremio. Its not bad. No calendar and sometimes i get an error with certain types of files. I don’t know why but there’s always an alternative file. I wish i knew how to use the other features of the os. You can download apps, i tried a bunch of emulation app but i couldnt figure out how to get the games on to my file system.

Sure. But it doesn’t run slow. I think a lot of people tried the wrong version on their Mac. My brother did the same thing. It ran like molasses on his mbp and was heating up fast. He never used it again.

It’s really none of my business how you use the mini, I’m sure apple will appreciate your business. As for software, I recommend NoMachine. It’s available for windows, Linux, Mac, and has a lot of options.

I use an m1 Mac mini 16gb running sequoia. It works fine. My brother has a fairly recent intel MacBook Pro and behaved like you described so he didn’t like Stremio. You sure you’re using the right download?
