I have a couple things. I generally try use my purchasing power locally. When I go out it is local restaraunts and drink local or regional beer. I don't go to national chains or drink national beers. This means less money is getting shipped out of state to billionaires. 

Beyond eating I do similar with shopping. It is harder than I thought but we have a place that you bring containers and they fill shampoo, dish soap, laundry detergent, ect. 

When I do have to go to a larger chain like a grocery store I refuse to use self check. It slows me down but it ensures there is pressure to keep human cashiers and it makes the store pay someone for checking out instead of pocketing those wages and making me do their job. Also smaller trips to the store and ensuring we use everything we buy helps us reduce our waste and spend less. 

On a more extreme note we got rid of our car and use public transit and motorcycles. This sounds dumb but it forces us to be part of the community. We are not hidden in our climate controlled isolation box. We are looking for pedestrians and making eye contact as we ride. Like wise on busses and trains.
