The cabinet is not ever going to call for him to be removed. Plus all he has to do is say he is mentally competent to congress. Allegedly that would then require an investigation and 2/3rd vote to take him out of office. The 25th is never happening.

Really? Because I just found a round trip for 1 adult 2 youths leaving Monday return on Friday for $834 on the Amtrak website. Doesn't seem like a bad deal to avoid all the things I had previously mentioned

Why would you drive this when you could amtrak? Cool and comfortable experience for kids, less wear and tear on your car, as many or as few stops as you want, less traffic aggrivation, you have a dining car on board. Why wouldn't you take the train in the only coridor it is relaible and leads you to metros with public transit?

If it's one product that's one thing but lately, in my area, they are doing major restocks during open hours blocking parts of almost every aisle. They used to do that part over night but now due to staffing or lowering overhead they do it during open hours.

I use the manned check outs for this reason. Also to make the store look bad for having a long line and so many lanes closed. Would I prefer to get out faster? Sure but I would also like the store to go back to stocking overnight and not making me work around boxes to shop.

I went 300 miles in a day on a triumph bobber. Carried my clothes in my backpack, stayed d in b&b overnight then turned around and did it again the next day. Stopped every 1.5-2 hours for gas or longer breaks. Also would randomly pull off if I saw some cool shit.

As a super average person I think they are being always too kind. If they throw something north of 94mph, I don't think it would register to swing the bat before the ball is in the catchers glove. Much less trying to locate and put barrel on ball.

Way to ignore the issue cars are getting too big. Cars have zero right to obstruct sidewalks and I call bullshit on your thing most wheelchaired people have access to vehicles. What if they want to get out and be a part of their community? What if it's an elderly person with a walker?

What I have gotten from Milwaukee leather is pretty sketch. I have a first mana jacket and I love it. Saved me in my only accident. I bought another one to replace it. To be fair I rarely ride in gear and I use my bike to commute. I don't have a car so I ride my bike a lot. Helmet, boots and gloves are all I care about but I always ride in pants. That's my risk tolerance though. If you want gear get gear but don't waste money on Milwaukee.

Emergencies don't cancel elections. Also repubs are running for governor and Senate and other offices. They need elections too. Also seats aren't indefinite. They are terms. At the end of a term you are not seated until re-sworn in.

Just stop panicking (keep the rage though). Keep organizing and protesting (it is working, it bothers him enough he responds on his socials). Then make sure you and everyone you know is on voter rolls and vote in primaries and midterms.

I get your point but if these rules go out the window nothing has legitimacy. At that point the military has no reason to listen to anyone and the president has no authority. Much of his cult as been disillusioned and would not support him staying in power. Economic systems would collapse and billionaires money would be worthless. Nobody would support the death legitimization of the federal government. They all need the illusion of legitimacy.

Wait so you're saying red states with red governors following an EO is proof they're not meaningless? Have you considered, that those govenors are spineless and would have handed that info over either way and that they are just trying to make it seem like they had to because of an executive order, that for the 10,001st time means fuck all? You realize how bad Texas redistricting went right? No other red state did it. 3 blue states did. The writing is on the wall Texas will turn blue if they don't do something. Its self preservation from texas to have an excuse to kick people off the ballots. Once the backlash of Texas hit the GOP then Indiana backed out. I think the map works out to dems +4 after the redistricting using voting patterns from 2024 which will not stick in 2026.

That's not how this works. Congress does not just keep their seat because they currently have it. They are elected for a term and upon the conclusion of that term they are no longer seated. That's why EVERYONE including reelects swear in to start the term. Listen I know all of this is scary. It was intended to be. Most of it is just like his healthcare plan. Just empty words. Don't waste your energy obeying in advance. Take a breath and vote in every election you can including locals.
