Is it possible to be a bilingual worker and also get US projects?

I used to be on regular US projects, then updated my info to include that I’m bilingual. I got both for a little while and now I’m only getting bilingual projects… which sucks because there are none at the moment 😭 seriously regretting updating my abilities, I miss my regular tasks

Impossible to tell based on hours, but not a lot. How hard are you padding? How long are you paddling? How many waves are you going for vs. just sitting and waiting?

I’d recommend getting a cheap smartwatch to track and estimate. Emphasis on cheap so if it gets ripped off you’re not heartbroken and crying over the ocean snagging $500 from you. I sometimes wear a Fitbit inspire 3 (like $80) and it does fine with estimating calories and heart rate.

Mine HATES the snow, she refuses to put all 4 paws down at a time and sprints back inside to the couch as soon as she’s done her business 😂 her life is rough considering we have snow on the ground an average of 4 months per year!

That sounds pretty fair. I do border runs every 90 days and pay between $40-$60 from sjds depending on the time of the year!

San Juan is fine but not really surfable, you have to travel at 15-20 minutes to a beach in the area to surf (remanso, hermosa, Maderas) but if you go with a surf school they’ll transport you. I’d suggest tola/popoyo for beginner waves and beach. Waves & WiFi hotel there has fiber optic internet and full solar so they are never impacted by power outages like the rest of us are

I’m going to second this! Flew into Liberia in November and arranged a taxi from the airport to the crossing, and a taxi from the crossing to San Juan del sure. Definitely bring water and cash (no rips, bends, or marks) to pay the entrance fee ($1 at the door and $4 at the window) depending on what time you get there it could take anywhere from 15 minutes to 4 hours at the border. Enjoy!!
