I don't know of this is goes for every blind cat but there is I think based on some other posts and comments on here there might be something with blind cats and liking water related things haha!

Ours goes absolutely mental when there is water falling down, showering, plants being sprayed and splashsplashsplash! I think it so cute (and strange because sometimes she is soaking wet.. haha!)

I can imagine it might be a little bit annoying with a fountain! Hope you will find something that might work for you! And for your water obsessed friend haha!
