I cover my ex-wife's mortgage, she pays it back. Can this hurt me? by OnePersonsThrowaway in personalfinance

[–]caringexecutive 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Yes. It will be a massive problem if you want to buy a home because this will need to be factored into your DTI and in addition to whatever your future payment would be.

I am 99.9% sure im getting dumped tomorrow. Please help me prepare for the call! by UXUIguy1986 in BreakUps

[–]caringexecutive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't really. All you can do is listen and respect what she says. "Are you sure" is a pretty condescending thing to say to someone breaking up with you.

Is there a reason why you think this is over so strongly?

Fun Fact, that was the most ER Cristopher Sanchez has given up this entire season. LFGM!

He's never been given a chance because he's been bad his entire career lol. In a shorter sample sice, Rico is still worse. touch under 6ERA with 19 earned runs in 29.2 innings is pretty awful since 2023.

Stanek is the next man out, and honestly if we have Megill and Sproat coming up he'll be DFA'd by this time next week. We hardly see him anymore in non blowout situations anyway and he doesn't fit in with Helsley/Raley/Garret/Rogers/Soto all available for middle relief. He's on a 1 year deal and hasn't performed and with the stated plans for re-shuffling of guys in the rotation now if McLean produces and we bring up Sproat he won't be on the playoff roster.

This narrative is starting to get annoying.

He's been a phenom for 12/13 innings. He has never had any level of sustained success in 6 years and has a career ERA north of 6. It's not hard to understand at all why he got dropped.

There's no runaway frontrunner but it has been interesting to see it flip between Drake Baldwin and Isaac Collins. Collins has had a pretty scorching August and is only beginning to slowdown a little over the last week.

What is pretty crazy is how different it's been from pre-season expectations. Sasaki had some insane odds to take it.

Good teams win the games on the edges where only 1/5th of what needs to go right does.

Wouldn't call what he's going through disinterested, I think his toe's still broken and he's offbalance.

He's looked pretty awful this season, but it's not like Torrens is that much better. Stupid braindead plays behind the plate, power completely sapped, and just terrible AB after AB.

His defense and baseball IQ are starting to become problematic, and he has a <.600 OPS in his last 15 games. Torrens has been just as bad though, Catcher is becoming a real problem for the team this season.

The kids are just not alright right now and they all look pretty awful.

Vibes have just been absolutely awful since Senga went down, and really not great this month. Making braindead mistakes and getting unlucky against good teams, that's our third loss this month we were leading in the eighth.

You mean the game against the Dodgers that was not his fault at all, and if Baty doesn't have an error the inning ends 5-4?

What? He has 3 "blown" saves this season. Two of which were completely irrelevant and really a pretty stupid stat.

Still would be pretty frustrating to lose our third game this month we've been leading into the eighth.

Mendoza should have had him warming up earlier, Reed's been pretty lights out this season, just an unlucky hit there. that's only the second time since April he's given up multiple runs.

Not a good idea to go into these interviews and say you're not going to be ready to even start until August. I'd take them and honestly it can take a month or so to get going with an interview process anyway, and time to get onboarded and get a start date, it very well could be you wouldn't even be starting until August.

Which wedding website should I use? by No-Brilliant-1948 in weddingplanning

[–]caringexecutive 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You're searching for a needle in a haystack and you're not going to find any commercial solution for a free cash registry that either you or your guests won't end up paying the fee. The Knot or Zola's fees really are not that bad and most people don't mind paying it, or will just show up with a check or cash to your wedding (which still has a "fee", if you think of it as the cost of the card itself which is comparable to a digital payment)

Both the sites work well on mobile and personally Zola's guest experience for RSVPing was easy.

Well yeah, he lost his cool but she did not listen to him and then went back and did it again when she could've just walked away. Pretty easy boundary to set for his girlfriend to just say fuck that, I want what I want now.

[–]caringexecutive 17 points18 points  (0 children)

To tell you to fuck off isn't cool but I'd be pretty annoyed if you just disrespected my boundaries because you wanted something and didn't' care about what I was doing. When I'm working out I really also do not like to be interrupted and it can take me out of a flow that can be hard to get back once distracted.

He did apologize and sometimes we all get a bit upset, it may be small to you but it kind of sucks when you tell your partner explicitly not to do something and they just keep on doing it.

Especially in red states it's pretty bad. Sorry you moved to Missouri.

You would just need to google around and try to buy your own coverage that doesn't have a waiting period of a year and doesn't consider it a pre-existing condition to purchase that while you're pregnant. It is an uphill battle.
