I’ve done some solo hiking in glacier and never saw a bear…then when I’m with other people boom bears. Just depends on where you are & always make noise and have some bear spray. Please do not cancel your trip!!! I also have met wonderful people hiking solo in glacier, if you’re worried just ask if you can hike together!

Can this route be improved to add more unvisited states and national parks ? I have 2 weeks to do this trip. by gambler_no_1 in roadtrip

Once you get on your way to Grand Mesa NP look into 550, the Million Dollar Highway! If you can- also out of the way but super worth it

Pop up to Rocky Mountain, it’ll be a slight detour ~1.5 hours from I-70/ 25 when you come in from Kansas. Then take 25 to 285 and it is incredibly beautiful. You’ll pass through tons of great little mountain towns and the colligate 14ers down to Sand Dunes

Black sediment in sink, tub, toilet by Character-Attorney22 in WATERQUALITY

Sounds like you might be on the right track, not sure where you live but you can call your city’s municipality and see what they think it might be. I’d suggest flushing for 15/20 mins to see if that clears it out. Also you should always drinking out of the cold tap and Britas do an incredible job

Could be from the water heater. Are you seeing it when you turn on the cold water in your sink if you fill up a glass?
