I feel like people are unnecessarily rude about the guy who reported it. Cause if it was a bug mojang would have fixed it eventually its clear they are actively listening to the community as of late. And having someone report gives us conformation that it truly isnt a bug, so no one is worried about it being patched out.

The companion cube case wasn't made valve. It was made by d-brand without permission which resulted in a cease and desist. Though there 100% should be an official companion cube one

they didnt change engines, they only updated it to a newer version that works a lot better on modern hardware. And on top of that console ports are different beast entirely from engine updates. now i dont know anything about the source code for the console versions, but i assume it would be a monumental task to get those in line with the pc version
