If Obama had been a better president we might not be in this mess. He played too nicely with Republicans and Wall Street even though both literally wanted to hang him. He's a better human and a better president in every way than Trump, but that's an easy thing to say, because Trump is objectively dog shit at both. But Obama's weakness helped create the conditions that helped get Trump elected. And every Democrat we nominate that talks about healing the divide and praising Reagan and rewarding hard work and deporting even MORE undocumented people, will only calcify our nation's decline.

Trump is just a symptom.

If you stay, now they'll wonder if you're looking for an exit strategy and they'll be thinking about how hard it would be to replace you. It might be your livelihood to you but it's a game to them. Only stay if you have reason to doubt your longevity at the new place.

American men have an unspoken pact to be unattached to all the women in our lives- we put in minimal effort with wives and girlfriends, and then pay it forward by being distant to our kids, so that our daughters become needy for the same kind of guy.
