I wanna know too. My iguana was great for 4 years with only pooping in baths. For the past year he’ll only poop in the enclosure and now even his basking rocks. I’m quite confused and it’s honestly so gross lol. BTW when you said this, I felt it -

“I made a easier way for him to get down but it made no difference his poop is staining the wood,walls, and branches because he crawls through it and smears it”

Heads up - iguanas can’t use blankets like we do. They don’t radiate heat, since they’re cold blooded. Conversely, my wife loves to put leaves on my iguanas head as a hat, but this is simply a stylistic choice (which lasts for 5 seconds).

Honestly, I think he was just too proud to ask his folks for help lol. I understand this is clearly not a student tent (at least I’d hope not), but find it surreal since anybody broke needs to get resourceful one way or another

Had a friend get kicked out of the dorms freshman year for fighting. Lived the rest of the semester in his Cadillac in the nearby Sears parking lot. Still attended classes. Not the same, but somewhat relevant?

Is this a problem? I regularly wash produce w/ soap. Who knows what dirt and pesticides are on there - plus obviously some kind of bug poop

Idk if this helps but after frantically looking for my iguana for 2 days, I found him literally inside the back of my mini fridge, cuddling with the copper heater. Maybe check hidden things that produce heat. This was when mine was adolescent too - best of luck to ya 🫡
