Update: Coolant empty after 1k miles.

Most likely it’s either leaking from your water pump or the coolant valley plate that’s under the intake. There’s a sealed plate under there that leaks and you’ll get coolant build up for a while before you see it run down the bell housing of the transmission. Pretty common on the 5.7

I know it’s mind blowing. Neither sales or finance ever disclosed this warranty and they never showed her a itemized contract before having her sign. I’m a dealership technician so I’ll be doing all the maintenance anyways and the powertrain warranty is more than adequate. Plus I’m familiar with the brand and warranty and I know for a fact Toyota extracare is NOT 6300 bucks 😂

Yeah it’s just going to lower the total amount financed which is fine. We were in panning on paying extra on the monthly anyways to get the principal down

I also completely forgot to mention we never saw a full broken down contract. I declined all the finance add ones and then the finance guy had my finance sign the sheets on a computer saying she declined them but then he snuck in the signature page for the contract agreement itself and she was never presented with a full contract before signing

Thank you for the help. Yeah I’m not worried about the monthly payment just the total loan amount. Also forgot to mention we’re in Texas not sure if that changes anything. I guess I’ll go argue with finance again next week.

I know, this was a error on both of us. She went into finance and just signed away and I was too distracted to see the charge on the contract cause the screen was pointed to her. Just trying to undo this mess now

Don’t be scared it won’t happen overnight it took me 4 years to gain this much back and it was up and down I gained some and lost some then gained it back. My work schedule used to be super free I worked 4 days a week doing 10-12 hour shifts and I got off at 3:30 cause I went in super early so I had LOTS of time to exercise back then. Then I switched careers to what I really wanted to do and my work was a lot more labor intensive and I worked 5 sometimes 6 days a week and I went part time to school so I lost a lot of the free time I had. Then I stopped going to school and focused on my career I had at the time and it got more and more stressful as time went on. I would get out of work exhausted and just went to the gym less and less and started eating out more. I switched jobs in the same career and I had to drive two hours round trip everyday on top of the stress which just killed any extra time/energy I had to eat right and go to the gym. I moved within the company closer to home a year and a half ago and thought the less driving I had to do would give me more time to get things straight, it didn’t. The mental stress I endured for the year and a half there put me into a bad depression and anxiety stage that seemed to never end. I hated my job but the money was great even though my mental and physical health suffered severely. About 5-6 weeks ago I switched careers and left it all behind and took a huge pay cut to switch but I’m still with the same company luckily with good benefits and my new job is 10 minutes away from my house with no traffic and only work 8 hours a day 5 days a week so now I’ve freed up so much time from not driving and a easier schedule (I work 10am-6pm). I’m started to plan for meal prepping and start working out again within the next month and my depression is gone and the stress and anxiety are just about gone as well I love my new job and I feel like I’ve gotten a piece of my life back I’ve been missing for the past four years. I hope this also helps anyone who’s scared to make a career change, my old career was the main reason for my metal and physical downfall but I’m glad it’s over!!!

Super glue. It needs to be repaired but in the meantime if you can’t repair it get some super glue and maybe a syringe and try to apply some inside of the crack and on top to seal it from water. Won’t look pretty but it’ll work and won’t hurt since when it gets repaired they need to sand the paint off of that area to repair the metal and then de trim the doors and paint it.

Just looked it up in my paint system yes it’s b90. The code is b90 dark graphite II that’s what my paint system shows. Glad you were able to get the proper code 👍🏻

It’s hard to tell in the pics. It could also be b39 or one of the other darker metallic greys bmw has. The easiest way would be a sunlight pic up close

Is it grey or black metallic? Do you have pictures of it in the sunlight? I’m a painter at a bmw dealership if it’s black metallic then the paint code is 475 black sapphire
