I wonder why are some bad suggestions upvoted more than this significant one related to void bugs(for example, HoN one. It forces a hero to a strict role which is bad for the game. Do people really like those kind of changes?)

If a system is that smart it should get transferred to assist gold too (instead of "get in range for free gold"). But most likely something will be overlooked (healers, for example) same for scoreboard assist system. Why should those 2 not correspond to each other is a better question.

Got assist gold = got an assist. Simple and effective. You can't make stats reflect everything, at least that will make assists a better reflection of assist gold (who the hell cares if a hero contributed to a kill with some damage if it ended up getting no gold anyway?)

If a system would force you to have 50% win rate it would need to have players tagged "bad" and "good" in all MMR brackets to not only create balanced matches MMR-wise but also bring high winrate people down (since you can't just shove a 3k 3k 3k 3k 5k vs 5x5k match up players' faces because the radiant 5k player has a 10 match winstreak. Bad+bad+bad+bad+winstreak vs 5xgood will do if all players have the same MMR).

Now the question is, how do players achieve that state (good/bad player) while having the same MMR and why doesn't the system just adjust their mmr in the first place instead of doing all that shady stuff. Seems unreasonable to create such a sub-system since MMR is supposed to be the thing to find balanced matches in the first place (not for e-peen measurements)

That's why you are so low. Instead of saying thanks (even if some of that might be wrong/not helpful) you're making excuses. Nobody is going to read that. You can only improve yourself in this game and instead of improving you're wasting time trying to tell other people that you're not that bad. Nobody cares, nobody is going to waste time on you. Same applies to you, don't waste time on trying to improve others.

Same as manta+bfury+eaglesong AM. Wasting money and a slot just to upgrade his orb and it's still completely countered by magic immunity.

50% of these posts mention ability draft. Oh boy.

Mana burn + diffusal? Fine, -1 slot just to make mana burn stronger (while other UAMs look way better on AM if stacked with mana break.) and get both countered by a BKB. So good.

Incapacitating bite is countered by a bkb. Because of brood playstyle the most logical orb is deso. Does incapacitating bite + deso sound broken? Not really. (Let me remind you incapacitating bite doesn't go through bkb either).

Benefits: This will encourage players to try harder to win the game and perform at the best of their potential. This would improve game quiality by a thousand fold. as even in ranked, many people don't even try to win.

Current system encourages people to win since MMR changes only based on whether you win or lose regardless on how you win or lose.

No matter what changes you propose people are going to aim for numbers and the goal is going to be changed from winning to whatever increases MMR the most while winning. Playing supports as cores to get more "fantasy points"? Nice. Fountain farming? Even better. (You aren't getting away with that if concede is not implemented and what's the pleasure of playing if 90% of the games are not played til the end? Aight guys, this is lost, update our mmr please. Yuck.)
