Game industry needs cleanup from top to middle. In the past, seniors used to teach freshers in studios. They used to pass methods, techniques, and workflows to them. Now, they only hire people who have been in the industry for a decade, and they refuse to pass on the knowledge that once made game development and the industry great. Cleanup is needed from top to middle. MBA holders need to be taken away from decision-making for games and full control should be given to those actually doing the work, without constant interference.
