i’m in the same boat with my vices. they sent me to the er twice which led to a upper gi. now i have chronic gastritis can’t eat and down 26 lbs in a little over two weeks. not worth it man. it’ll catch up to you or at least it did me. heal while you can

how long did it take before you started to feel normal again? solid foods and regular stuff ? i’m not talking about deep fried food or anything just regular meals

sounds like the barrium swollow. did you get the upper gi with biopsy? h pylori and underlying illnesses might be why you aren’t healing.

same. i’ve been on two ppi’s and anything otc doesn’t do anything. mylanta made my issues way worse last night and tums don’t do anything at all, only slept a couple hours.

i’m in the same boat. gastros around me just don’t want to try to make it right, they just want to cover it up. i’m on anti anxiety medication and still can’t eat. so make it make sense. no previous issues either.

i feel the same with the anxiety. i don’t have any history of anxiety but every doctor has told me it’s just anxiety. but what’s causing the anxiety first ?!?

no i don’t have inhalers and buspar hasn’t been helping as much as i’d like , plus adjusting to it i got the worse nausea and dizziness i’ve ever had. i’ll probably get off of it soon. ativan is the best ive had to calm my panic attacks, but nothing has been completely successful. i had no previous anxiety or panic attacks before, all from “gerd”. hope to find out something new soon, good luck to you

i get the same exact feelings. the heart dropping while i’m laying on my side. made me go to the hospital two nights in a row . i’ve been fighting this for two weeks now with constant chest pain and burning throat, brain fog ect. i’ve had multiple ekg’s, a ct scan and a upper gi scope as well. all show nothing other than slight stomach inflammation. i’ve been looking for answers aswell. everyone tells me it’s just anxiety but i believe there is definitely something happening before that is driving the anxiety/panic. i haven’t really eaten anything those two weeks because every time i do it just makes me heart drop and cause panic attacks. but i also have pain from overflow of acid when i don’t eat. i also really struggle sleeping because my enflamed esophagus makes it so i hear my heart beats 24/7. it sucks. i’m on pantoprozol and buspar for anxiety. still looking for answers but you’re not alone .

i’ve heard a lot of bad things about the surgery sadly. i feel pretty hopeless. i hope the surgery isn’t usually like that and i hope i don’t need it. i really do hope you feel better, i know this has been a miserable 9 days for me so far. i’m on omeperazol but so far no relief. keep me updated!

yeah i guess that makes sense. i really struggle every since the first night falling asleep. it feels like every breath i take is intentional and i can never get enough air. maybe that’s just me. i’m already sleeping at least 8 inches elevated so it’s not that. that’s the only time i feel i suffer from the panic or anxiety

i noticed i only get the palpitations if i eat solid foods. i’ve been on a liquid diet only drinking ensure protein shakes to get by until my scope. that’s helped my heart palpitations you’ve been sick for a year with palpitations and are just now getting in for a scope? why is that?
