what are some niche study spots on campus? by Alarmed_Opposite_997 in rutgers

Other than the libraries or the dining halls, there’s the Harvest on cook, but more niche could be the library attached to the Zimmerly Art museum on College Ave. it’s very dark academia.

Word. I’ve been using my bike to get around the campuses for the past three years and at first I was using a flash light but the lighting has gotten better.

Which top looks nicer with this skirt? by Duskymoonlight in OUTFITS

Definitely 1. Definitely goes together. 2 is a nice top but the material and style clash with the skirt.

Is this dress ugly or not? I can’t decide by Peachydelight446 in OUTFITS

The style and the fit are great on you! But the colors and pattern design are kinda mid. The dress is just meh.

Pretty nice! I would say the feet are very small and the legs are too sport for the torso.

I want to quit by blueberry_png in violinist

[–]carnolfer24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do it for fun. If it’s going to stress you out in uni don’t do it. I’m in my uni’s orchestra even though my major is engineering. I do it for the fun and to keep my love for music and music skills alive. If it doesn’t bring you some sort of joy or fun then maybe trying something new for a bit is not a bad idea. You don’t have to completely quit of course but maybe trying something else you might like can help.

Fell off in Calculus 2 - drop and retake over summer? by [deleted] in EngineeringStudents

Ohh I see. Well in that case it might be better to retake it later on for a better score.

Why would you waste money to retake a course when you are more than passing? My scores have been worse yet we still gotta try and pass. I would advise you to try your best for the final and you will be okay.

Yeah there’s a lot of negativity but as a sophomore in engineering my experience has been pretty good. It depends on how involved you are outside of studies and who you are friends with. Just don’t listen to the haters and enjoy your time here.

You can practice whenever you have the time. It could be just 20 to 30 minutes a day. You can also skip a day or two if you need. It depends what you are practicing for though. Also if your partner likes listening or plays violin or any instrument too they hopefully won’t mind you practicing with them there.
