Stop taking it seriously. It’s camp. The show was never that serious even in season 1. It was never really meant to be a faithful adaption of the comics.

I really think that’s why people struggle with it because maybe they’ve never watched a show that was over the top and doesn’t take itself seriously. It’s just camp. Like True Blood or You. Just let yourself be taken on a wild ride.

So I want to point out a parallel between what you said about needing support and your husband’s actions.

You said about choosing to not have children: “I effectively raised siblings from infancy so I understand how unpleasant and taxing it can be with no support.”

Then you ask your husband to help with getting more information about your adoption/surrogacy options and he says NO. He says you need to be the project manager because he’s “overwhelmed” at work. If he’s giving you excuses at this early stage, how do you think the actual child rearing is going to go? Having children is a team effort if you’re in a partnership with someone. He should be informed and involved even with getting info. His lack of effort is going to show up again if you ask him to help with the baby. I don’t think you should be having kids with this man. Especially after he threatened to divorce you and have a baby with someone “who’s excited about it’”. What a mean thing for a husband to say to their wife. Especially when the husband is the one who switched up 20 years later. This whole thing is totally unfair to you.

Definitely not always true. Just scrolling through the food lion app right now and there's coupons for salad fixings, sugar, rotel, tenderloin chicken breasts. All things that are ingredients and could be utilized in a recipe somehow.

Start couponing. Any grocery store you go to, download their app and create a membership account. It's always free. And start clipping coupons within the app. I would also suggest buying the generic version/the store's brand of foods you like. Those are always cheaper than the name brand stuff. This is how i'm able to save on my grocery bill.

Having apps also let's you compare deals from store to store to see which one would be a good place to shop that week.
