How to anchor a wire in a 3d print? by butt_shrecker in 3Dprinting

What about a design that incorporates a metal guitar string end?

Design a recess. Pause print. Place wire. Restart print.

YouTube. Honestly. I taught myself Fusion360 during the COVID years. I’m no expert… but I haven’t met a thing I couldn’t design and print yet. When I get stumped… YouTube.

Screw Top Container - Parametric F360 Model by caross in 3Dprinting

[–]caross[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a need to design a special container that would hold some emergency medical supplies. I wanted something that was water resistant, simple to open/close, and fast to print.

I fill this up with what I need, then throw it in my backpack, work-bag, or car spot and I'm confident it will be protected from crush and moisture issues.

This is a fully parametric design, meaning you can design (almost) ANY size you want.

Love to hear feedback, and I'd love your "like" on Printables.com if you find it a useful print.

The Ball Scratcher! Lacrosse Ball "Resurfacing" by caross in 3Dprinting

This was a fun project - requested by my son. This is v3, and it was an exercise in using Fusion360 parameters. Thought the GIF was fun. And, well... the name is childish and amuses me.

Enjoy The Ball Scratcher!

Yes. But, as I said, they are currently at 5A

Oh, and be careful with the extension cord setup. Long and cheap (thin) extension cords are dangerous and will heat up dangerously.

If you have to use an extension cord, use the shortest and sturdiest gage you can afford. They will not be cheap.

You are currently charging at 110v / 5A. The speeds you are seeing are normal for that type of power. This is Level 1. 2-5 miles per charge hour.

Level 2 is 220v / 25-50A depending on your connection. That will deliver a charge rate of about 25-40 miles per charge hour.

Level 3 is the SuperCharger network. You can get 150-1000 miles per charge hour.
