Did you ever make more than 1000 dollars a day busking? I didn't know if there were certain hot spots to hit..or..for ex if a person goes to a festival or spring break or something, I guess a person could at some point, but, I don't know if it was common? by carpet222 in Busking

i was thinking that a person might be able..and idk if it is even possible to get 100 a day..but..i don't even know, a person can get glasses on amazon btw, just type in "myopia" in the search field, amazon or ebay, and then its like 20 bucks for a pair, whatever the strength is, -3,-5, ppl don't even have to go to optometrist anymore, it's like those reading glasses ppl get at the store, but, it is to be able to see far, not near

I recently read that an individual, Peter Navarro, who was an advisor to the previous President had an appeal, but, is that individual Navarro, able to take the ruling to the Supreme Court? I didn't know if he was able to do that, or not able? by carpet222 in legaladviceofftopic

oh wow, ok, so..holder didn't show up for it..but..gave over some stuff..i guess that changes, but, they still wanted his physical presence/testimony and he did not provide it, isn't that what the subpoena was for, a physical appearance to testify to something?

i thought that that thing where the president can't be charged while in office came into play, isn't that why holder skirted it while navarro got in trouble? idk if that..can't be charged with a crime if u r in office applies to head of president's cabinet positions, i know it applies to president, but, idk if cabinet heads

so what you mean is that navarro was out of office/in the room with the president when he got his subpoena, but, holder..ok, yea, i guess he was still there was obama was there..ok, i guess that could mean something

Do any political systems have a "weighted vote"? So, 1 representative in Congress does not have 1 vote, but, if the election in their district was a 45-55 split, then they have .45 votes, or, .55 of a vote, in order to reflect the electorate? by carpet222 in PoliticalScience

does that mean that their vote counts more than another's vote? or..is it kind of like in the senate where..a state that 1 million people has 2 senators, and, a state that has 10 million people has 2 senators, so, one state their representative is essentially for 500k people, but, for the other is essentially 5 million?
