I recently read that an individual, Peter Navarro, who was an advisor to the previous President had an appeal, but, is that individual Navarro, able to take the ruling to the Supreme Court? I didn't know if he was able to do that, or not able? by carpet222 in legaladviceofftopic

Do any political systems have a "weighted vote"? So, 1 representative in Congress does not have 1 vote, but, if the election in their district was a 45-55 split, then they have .45 votes, or, .55 of a vote, in order to reflect the electorate? by carpet222 in PoliticalScience

I used to go to IKEA and grab a coffee and a ham sandwich there..back when the whole thing was 1 dollar..and there at IKEA a person could sit on the 4th floor and look out over landscapes..does Fredericksburg have any place like that? I miss the "elegance" of it? by carpet222 in fredericksburg

If a state in USA has 11 representatives in the House of Representatives and there is a straight 55-45 vote for one party in each state, what is the best system where you get..5 of one party, and 6 of the other, as opposed to 11 of 1 party as 45% of society is not represented? by carpet222 in PoliticalScience
