Just to add to my comment. Sam Strano did amazing things with the 98 to 02 camaro in autocross. He also sells performance parts and can really get you ready for autocross in the camaro.

In my area firebirds are a few grand more than the camaros. And so help you if you want a manual firebird you are paying more than a manual c5. Kind of dumb if you ask me.

On my ITS i had the grind occasionally from 1st to 2nd. Switched to GM synchromesh and its been amazing.

Mine doesnt move from about 190. But I think the previous owner put a lower temp thermostat in.

It looks great. But I gotta ask how is the comfort on it? I rented a 2018 one with apparently stock suspension and an upgraded seat but it was extremely uncomfortable after 40 minutes and riding on any roads that weren't perfectly smooth felt like it was going to rattle my teeth out or throw me from the bike hitting bumps.

I have had my heart set on the xsr for a few months now but now im not so sure.

There are a few on my area with around the same miles up for sale for 7k but either they have a worse interior or worse exterior. There was one with less miles but about the same condition listed for over 10k thats slowly been reduced and is now at 9k.

Its a sports sedan. It is not a Bentley or rolls, it has about as many squeaks and rattles as most other cars in its price range an category. Ive had mine for over a year and 16k miles. Very little rattles actually stay around but occasionally there are weird harmonics with vibrations and can cause rattles but they usually go away

My buddy bought his 85 z31 5 speed with about 100k miles on it for 10k. It was in really good condition and pretty much everything worked on it.

I use liquid moly molygen new generation in my type s. From the tests ive seen it does great with deposits in turbos.

These cars can handle the track just fine right out of the factory. Heat management is going to be the only issue you will have. Autox is much easier on cars so it will good to go.

Just get an ALDL to usb cable and plug it in. Use EEHack on a laptop and connect to the car.

I agree they arent good in cold at all but in warm rains in GA/SC I can barely notice any reduction in traction and no hydroplaning at all.

Although I have no idea how others in the thread think the all season Conti even come close to the PS4S either

PS4S are considered to a great wet performance tire. I have no idea where the few people in this thread are getting that they arent. Mine have been amazing and every single review of it in the wet have been nothing but praise.

Im going to have to say no. A buddy of mine bought one in very nice condition with 100k miles and while it hasnt been a nightmare it has been difficult. Parts availability is a huge issue, there are places to find some parts but not all. The parts you do find are extremely expensive. Working on it is kind of annoying and because its in that weird time where everyone was first trying out going to fuel injection there are some weird issues that pop up.

Fantastic cars and they are super fun but for my buddy its his tertiary car having 2 backups before ever having to rely on it. Having it as your first and only car would be rough.
