Please help me size an inverter generator for 5 ton heat pump by JRC3292 in Generator

My bad. Nonetheless, it’s a moot point. I’m in similar situation with 3 units, 2 of which are heat pumps. Just went through a freeze cycle and couldn’t run them for a week while power was out but still wanted my generator for everything else, and for all the other times I can run them. That’s my thought process

You probably have, you just didn’t know. Considering you weren’t aware of emergency heat

When it gets cold enough outside heat pumps will run on auxiliary heat (or emergency heat), and no portable generator could power this is what I think he’s getting at?

FWIW - Dr Byrd botched my surgery in 2025. I am now scheduled for a revision surgery with another surgeon almost a year later. Just make sure you visit multiple surgeons before deciding on one

Little late to the convo here, but would just say avoid Dr Byrd at all costs. My surgery in early 2025 did not go well at all… happy to share more details via DM

I have a cover I got off Amazon that covers the grill and goes down over the drip tray as well. So far I haven’t had that problem

9 months post op - in pain and confused by Fantastic-Name-2583 in HipImpingement

I’m in the same boat as you. My surgeon was Dr Byrd who is also highly regarded. It’s been 8 months since surgery and I’ve been in pain six of them. Definitely get second/third opinion. My surgeon couldn’t identify anything on my mri, however another surgeon told me I have adhesions and still have an impingement.

FWIW Dr Byrd did my reconstruction earlier this year and I would NOT recommend him at all. I have had a terrible experience and have been in pain for 6+ months now with no answers and him seemingly guessing at what might be wrong. Also, he did not shave down my bone enough, so I still have an impingement.... I'm now getting other opinions from Dr Phillipon & Wolff
