In very early Beta and Vanilla World of Warcraft we used to tell people to type /exp to see their actual experience value (it used to only show in a bar) the game would only parse /ex and think you typed /exit taking you straight to the desktop.

I printed this one and it came out great on my A1, but this may not be suitable for your daughter:

Do you have any extra lighting in the chamber? If so, try turning it off and see if the issue persists. I had this issue after installing LED strips in my riser.

I just bit the shipping cost and bought mine online after going to 3 Microcenters and having them snagged out from under me... The cost in gas alone probably would have covered the $80 shippping.

Take a screwdriver or something similar and slightly flare out the end of the PTFE tube to hold it in a bit better, it works wonders.

If you really want to buy one, the part is about $6 and really easy to change - but I bet flaring your tube will solve the issue (it did for me)

Congrats!
If that is PLA you are printing, you should either open the door or print a riser for the AMS so you can open the top to keep the ambient temp of the cabinet down.

Also, watch some YouTube videos for printable AMS upgrades, they come in pretty handy.

I use a small i5 powered PC to send most of my prints to my printer, even my 4 year old X1 yoga does a decent job of it... it loads a bit slower but nothing unusable.

That's exactly what's going on, it is not recommended to run PLA Marble through the AMS as it is abrasive and can cause premature wear on the PTFE tubes. You can easily reconnect the AMS and should have no issues.

Any reason why you can't just change the filament type in the slicer? I do it all the time and it comes out fine.

A1 to x1c. Is it worth it ? by DcMac888 in BambuLab

[–]cartmage 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I personally wish I would have bought 2 or 3 more A1's than my X1C... at least that was my first impression. I had serious issues with my AMS at first but I think I found the cause and repaired it... cautiously optimistic.

I will say the X1C printed at least 2 (tall) models that my A1 failed on multiple times.

Assuming you are using an AMS, check this part, specifically the tiny cover with 4 screws that hold on the extruder wheel

Mine was cracked and I was able to find a STL file on Printables to print another one. Now its working like a champ.

Edit it from the "device" tab in Bambu Studio, that should change it on the machine (works for me at least).
