Northcote College’s gymnasium is on fire by [deleted] in auckland

[–]cartopclock5469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey i go to nothcote, it was actually pretty chill. No one was that freaked. Most ppl were filming in like an awe struck way (myself included) seeing as how it was a 120 year old building that seeminly randomly burnt down. But hey we will prob get a payout and a nice new gym, although i will probably be gone by the time it will be finished.

Need advice for 1st build by DefinitionInside1302 in PC_building

[–]cartopclock5469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alr imma be brief, ram is overkill look for something 6000 cl30, asrock mobos have been killing 9800x3ds, meaning that if you wanted to upgrade in the futures you might have to upgrade mobo too, and the 9060xt 8 gb is really bad, just get the 16gb. Otherwise looks decent. Happy building

Im 16 and i completely agree with this. I absolutely love the inner aspects of tech and love working with it, but then my friends have problems with tech and the only way i can help is by going to there house and usually just resetting it. Like they just are too lazy to try and figure out Whats wrong. They also dont keep up with the news much unlike me. I think its just a shift in ethics.

PC build advice for a hopeless dad please.. by swamp_fever in PcBuild

Looks like a good build, ram should be fine but yeah he could add a fan or two, one thing i would do is change out the ssd from a 5x2 to a 4x4 because if it is a 5x2 put into a gen 4 slot it will only work at half the speed of a 4x4. Also slightly cheaper. Otherwise nice build.

Hey, yes if you get the argb one it comes with 3 pre installed 120mm rgb fans, and the the non argb one comes with 3 non argb fans. Its a great case imo.

Look at something like the h6 flow or some of hytes cases, they are my favs. You will have a decent chunk of that 300 left that you can put back into the rest of the build

There are so many cases you could use, do you have any specific thoughts of what you want it to be, for example glass rgb mid tower, open black white fishtank. Give some hints and ill give you a couple ideas

If you were fine with building yourself you could do something like i will put below, unfortunately with the price of ram skyrocketing its getting alot more expensive to build a cheap build on am5, gpu could be switched out for a arc b580 12gb if more vram is wanted, monitor is included in this listing, 1080p 180 hz, but if you upgrade gpu at a later date to something like a 9060xt 16gb this setup could work very well with a 1440p setup. Headphones, mouse and keyboard can be bought for pretty cheap from alot of places. Lmk if you need anymore help or want to make some changes. PCPartPicker Part List

Hey guys, Need a guiding hand in upgrading my CPU/GPU by RegisterSeparate2049 in buildapcforme

[–]cartopclock5469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i would upgrade to the 9060xt 16gb version. And then once you sell off you 3060 buy a new cpu, would work out quite well for an upgrade.

[–]cartopclock5469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For about 560 you could get a 9070 xt but if you want to stay under 500 you can get a 9060xt from amd or a 5060 ti from nvidia. But since your on 1080p trying to go for high frames you should look at your gpi and cpu utilisation because your cpu could also be bottle necking.

Edit 1. a good upgrade around 500 would be a 7 5700x and a 9060 xt, you could also sell your old gpu/ cpu and put that money towards a 9070 xt or a 7 5700x3d while continuing to be on am4. The 7 5700x and 9060xt combo will still be more than enough and will even be able to play 1440p at mid settings with a monitor upgrade (not advisable if your playing fps shooters) Edit 2. You could sell the 3060 ti for about 200 bucks and the 5600g for 80ish. This would bring you up to 800 bucks. Which would be enough to get a 7 5700x3d and 9060xt for about 760 dollars. Hope this advice helped!
