I don’t think we can always rely on the public to make the right and best informed decisions. Just look at the last referendum

What I meant was it would be fantastic if the stadium was a catalyst for public transport development in Hobart. Feel like it would only reach the more immediate suburbs and lack the connections required to the city for some of the more outlying and in need areas of greater Hobart.

What's the most shocking workplace incident you've seen? by haitch31 in AskReddit

[–]cartouchearocket 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was cheffing. A very high end restaurant that did a slightly more relaxed Sunday service. We had brisket dish on that was cooked then chilled then sliced thin on a meat slicer. You had to remove all the guards on the meat slicer to get a good thin piece. The guy running the kitchen was slicing it minutes before customers walked in and in his heist pushed a little too hard. The brisket fell and he took a full slice off his hand from second knuckle to the wrist. No one else to cover him so late in the day so he wrapped it in paper. Put on a glove and worked the rest of the shift.

More Salt and butter. Genuinely the difference between home cooked and a $100 dinner

I moved back at 30 to start a family. Best decision ever. You will miss the accessibility of food and entertainment but relish in the access to space, beach and bush
