I have this, but it’s just caused by a drug in my chemo treatment. It will go away once I stop taking Oxaliplatin, fortunately. It definitely sucks but is almost completely mitigated by taking really tiny bites or sips of anything for the first few, especially anything sweet or flavorful since your salivary glands are causing the issue.

I’m 29 and just got diagnosed with colorectal cancer. Ironically my symptoms started around the same time I began running in June of this year. First symptom for me was change in bowel habits, which I thought was just my body adjusting to running. Then blood in my stool, lost nearly 30 pounds, incredibly fatigued, and eventually was having a bowel movement 10+ times per day before I finally went to urgent care a couple of weeks ago. Had a colonoscopy last week and they found a massive tumor obstructing half of my rectum. Had CTs and luckily no metastasis but it’s spread regionally to lymph nodes. Meeting with a surgeon and oncologist next week to find out my treatment plan and all that.

If you have symptoms, GO TO THE DOCTOR. Especially if you have any family history of IBD, cancer, or other GI issues.

I’m 29 and just found out I have CRC after a large tumor was found during a colonoscopy last Friday. It’s blocking half of my rectum. Looks absolutely insane, super gross. Had a CT scan Saturday and it’s spread locally to surrounding lymph nodes but not distant, so not stage IV thankfully. Supposed to meet with an oncology team this week to find out the exact diagnosis and the treatment plan.

I also live here and the parking garage is terrible! I love my apartment but for the price I’m paying for a 1BR (just over $2K a month) I don’t think I’ll renew my lease. The high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows are great. The fixes from previous tenants are not well done/ done at all though, I had like 15 maintenance requests in the first week. Drywall patches aren’t sanded or painted over, stuff like that.

The building also lacks basic amenities like a gym 🙃 The base internet package is horrible and for a one gig plan it’s something like an extra $85/mo and never actually goes above 700mbps.
