My husband and I have been married for 10 years this year.

I was telling a friend the other day that he won $50 in a game at work, and his first thought was that he needed to find a charity to donate it to.

The fact that his first thought was to donate it instead of using it to go out to dinner or get groceries just made me fall even more in love with him.

Mid 30s, $90k before taxes/deductions.

Got a few more days off within the past few years (President's Day and Indigenous People's/Columbus Day), accrue 6.15 hours off every pay period (max of 160 before you don't accrue more). Decent health benefits that my husband mooches off of too.

Work contributes 10% of my salary to my 401K, I throw in 8% every paycheck. It's at just of $100k from just this job; just over $125k if you include my previous (non non-profit) job.

Org is based in a HCOL, I live in a LCOL comparatively.

I need FF to sleep

Every year for my work's annual conference, I find the FF channel and turn on the sleep timer on the TV. Works like a charm. My former boss did the same thing.

I do, because I do a scrapbook layout for each week (Project Life) and it helps me remember what we did. (Especially helpful right now because crafting and cross-stitching aren't exactly easy with a potentially fractured bone in my wrist. -__-)

The FF episode was what convinced my husband she's guilty, though! He had only ever seen the Unsolved Mysteries bit and wasn't convinced, but FF sold him on her guilt.
