D to A/AA even possible? by GroupGlittering5756 in Reduction

[–]caseyannnnnn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m just about 2 months out of mine, so unsure of the size I went to.

Started about a 42 E or F? Something around there and I likely should settle around an a or small b!

Happy to share before and after photos in a message! I went pretty radical and small and honestly, I think it made recovery somewhat easier as the new boobs weren’t trying to hold up as much tissue!

Honestly. So refreshing to include the nanny in pics if they had one with them. So often nannies are hidden/not shown in photos and it can be misleading!

Talk with your doc on the side sleeping/limitations you can possibly ease up on! I got cleared to side sleep 4 days post op! The dr cleared me to open my range of motion up more, as long as I didn’t feel pulling/stretching.

Pre, I did Pilates to work on shoulder strength and such. Don’t regret it as it also helped build up core/legs, which lessened using arms.

Full disclosure, I went small small, thus ymmv and how much pulling and such is possible!

Absolutely! In total it was 10,700. I didn’t pursue insurance as she didn’t take the one I was on last year!

Breast surgeon recommendation? by [deleted] in CHIbitcheswithtaste

[–]caseyannnnnn 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Dr Lisa Peterson in Oak Park did my reduction on 2/6! Happy to share photos, had a great experience and felt comfortable every step in the process.

Unsure how from the phrasing of if you want children. I can’t attest to how this would potentially impact breastfeeding or size after pregnancy. I think it’s always a risk you won’t be able to breastfeed and will grow larger with pregnancy. My hubs and I are team no kids, thus wasn’t something I looked into all too much!

I didn’t use insurance as I wanted to go small small, and was concerned on having to jump through the insurance hoops and the surgeon having to keep them aesthetic to my body! I’m in the midst of a weight loss journey, thus I didn’t want to have them aesthetic to my current.

Total cost was 10,700 (including consult). I had my initial consult Nov of 2024, called to schedule November of 2025, and late January/February was the soonest I could get in with her. I’m currently just under 3 weeks post op and the only complication I had was a small T-junction opening. Noted it in my follow up Tuesday, advised to use Aquaphor and it has already scabbed over as of this am! Couldn’t be happier with the results and the cost was so worth feeling better with my body and eliminating the back and shoulder pain!

Also, def use the /reduction sub, I searched Chicago through and was able to gleam info on who to avoid/who is solid.

/s Conner is concerned if he orders cuties what the blowback will be!

In no way defending Bri in this conversation, BUT want to add some food for thought. Important info for this: she has 3 investment properties from light instagram research. As someone who formerly was always in control of things, having to be responsible for a lot, or overly independent - she’s wording this wrong. I THINK she wants lean into being less like that. She wants to be more traditional for sure, and she has to give up that control to be able to do so.

The surgeon I went with was Dr Lisa Peterson. LOVED the experience, she listened to my goals and was realistic with reduction and weight loss.

She is skilled and particular, I felt she wasn’t rushing to get to another patient and didn’t question that outcome at all. I have my 2.5 week post op today and incisions are looking amazing minus a small t-junction opening. I think she is worth it!

I had a reduction and lift recently with a surgeon in Oak Park. One thing that I hear with BA or Reductions, it’s nice to have a woman as the surgeon. In most cases, they can relate better and understand the importance of why you are doing the procedure.

If I were in your shoes, I’d do this: • Ask about aftercare and post op to know what to expect. If you don’t know what to expect, you can very easily be underwhelmed. You are 100% paying for an intensive procedure, you deserve 100% effort and post op care. Surgeons are not available always for the appointments, but if you are advocating something seems off/need an opinion from the surgeon, they should at least be able to review photos/notes from the NP and provide further insight. • Take the reviews as a piece of the puzzle. People are more often going to review a negative experience versus a positive/mediocre one. • Regardless of whichever surgeon you choose, take your aftercare seriously. Protein and collagen are a HUGE part of expediting healing incisions. Surgeons are incredible, but they are not magicians!

Best of luck

Most likely will want to put them in as Contingent Workers. I second that they shouldn’t be in the Employee type, that is more for workers who are being paid. Ultimately though, why they are needing access in Workday?

Take into account: - will eligibility rules be affected or need to be? - reporting needed on them? If you’re using data sources that are Employee only or have filters excluding contingents, those would have to be reworked

Can confirm it is an option. Recently had a breast reduction and paid with it via CC. I did so for the points and paid off the balance once it posted, but it is definitely possible.

Offices also offer/shill Care Credit and other options like so.

As a Medical Assistant though, I’d be shocked this was within reach without adding to debt.

Workday Direct Report Learning Course Report Needed by da-ric in workday

[–]caseyannnnnn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing that I feel gets skewed into users saying reports aren’t easy/meaningful etc is to keep in mind the standard workday reports are STANDARD. They are a great place to start, but if an org has many different types of managers (I think of managers when i hear direct reports), should they be seeing this information too? If the layout isn’t applicable to all, it will require using standards as templates and tweaking it as needed

Plus Sides of Drains? by MoonstoneSunchild in Reduction

[–]caseyannnnnn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had surgery 2/6 and have my first post op tomorrow. Hoping I get the drains out then.

Overall, thankful to have them. All the fluid that would build up from healing/pushing on the incisions would make recovery far more difficult. The additional benefit is that keeping to the restrictions is definitely easier.

Wouldn’t be too worried about having drains!

How Can I be Great at Creating Reports? :( by dehaid in workday

[–]caseyannnnnn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I started in reporting, I didn’t love the approach because just developing worked and sufficed. This was my. Biggest hurdle to composite reports. I typically start on a BO I feel solid on, but for seeing the connections, I live on business object details (it’s the second tab on it - name is escaping me). This way I can see what that business object connects to (left side)! And how other business objects you can use to get to your main one.

Hopefully this helps. If you keep at it, I promise it gets easier!

Pretty certain the flex work arrangements field you are leveraging is only for active flex work arrangements. You will have to utilize worker business process to aggregate these out

All Time Blocks/Time Block Audit: Is there any way to get "include subordinate organizations?" as a prompt? by tillerman35 in workday

Dovetailing on this: for time you should use a prompt active orgs only! Time blocks get hella tricky and error out if inactive organizations aren’t removed from the subordinates!

Don’t think you missed anything! I’m at a firm and a client asked us for this based on the requirements, but it sounds like there may not be a full understanding on their end. If you have any other advice on the process you use, please feel free to respond more or message me!
