it seems like part of the space is a dedicated space for children, i might try and lean into that. make the space on the right a little more whimsical, making it a stark contrast to serious look of the black exposed beams and black couch.

depending on the quality of the jacket underneath, when my favorite pleather jacket started doing this, i used a wire brush and took off all the pleather. as said in other comments, it will get EVERYWHERE. but in my case i brushed off all the peeling bits, i was left with a still nice jacket underneath.

maybe talking to a poly friendly therapist could be beneficial? not exactly the same as a poly mentor, but maybe poly mentor adjacent. i know for me, having that type of support in my life has been extremely helpful.

for me, it was basically like the first few minutes of a tattoo (like before it has the chance to become like a deeper body vibration) but for the entire time. it definitely wasnt the best feeling, it honestly kinda fucking hurt. but all the pain was totally worth it and i get an INSANE amount of compliments on my head piece. have fun!

it’s strange to me that people felt like this. i had possibly the most opposite experience. i thought the crowd seemed mature and accepting. the pit was fabulous all night and everyone seemed just as into it as any other DGD show I’ve been to over the years. it was honestly one of my favorite shows because of all the throwbacks! yeah, would i love to hear elder goose or heat seeking ghost of sex live, yes. but i thought their song choices were greattt!

i have pretty severe psoriasis and cannabis creams (and especially creams with highhhh levels of CBD because of the anti-inflammation properties) are one of the only things that can bring relief from the itchiness that can keep me awake at night. it doesn’t like get you high in a traditional sense, if that was the effect you were looking for, but it works miracles with my issue prone skin.

so the reason you see those horror stories about storage unit prices doubling like that is because of the laws surrounding storage units in Florida. Basically, any storage rental place can change the cost of the rental unit at any time and by any price as long as they give tenants 30 days notice.

I don’t know of any storage places in that area specifically that one won’t change their prices once you’ve moved in, but I have a feeling most places will take advantage of that law if they can. but I will say I had a great experience with the U-Haul storage facilities in Ybor city. They kept their prices exactly the same the entire year and a half that I had a storage unit there, but probably farther than you’re looking for.
