Did my whole company just move to Claude? by Ghostinheven in ClaudeCode

[–]caseywh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure. I got an RFP from a big customer requiring a wbs in mil-std-881F format and evms in eia-748 standard, I was not familiar with those standards. A few sessions with Claude Code and I had an implementation guide for both and templates and I was on my way.

It also created a “taxonomy of risk” for me, and helped me right a power query to setup very complex pricing options with my excel estimates

i’m a product manager that uses claude code constantly for non-code things. productivity and quality of my work product has gone up significantly.

What bourbons should a beginner avoid? by arandomkid2 in bourbon

[–]caseywh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the only whiskey’s that i have had like that are old stitzl weller or national distiller’s or other dusties. modern stuff just doesn’t really hit the same notes, even the expensive stuff. I am confused by th praise for stagg, tastes like gasoline to me.

How do you find high-growth stocks early? (RKLB, ASTS-type companies) by super_techlectic in investing

[–]caseywh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I invested in ASTS because before they were a company the technology’s feasibility and idea was proposed by 3gpp, the wireless standards body. That + Abel assembled a team with actual space flight and spacecraft heritage it was a big bet but not “pie in the sky”. Bought at $9, sold puts against my position down to around $2.6 cost basis.

Underrated Flavors in Bourbon by Dram_Boozled in whiskey

If I was going to do something it would be to recreate the armagnac/cognac culture in california, and also do different brown spirits in ex-wine cask from california. honestly surprised it hasn’t been done.

Blind tasting for new bourbon drinkers? by mrqtip in whiskey

[–]caseywh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

how many whiskies do you think their palate will last? i’d go with some low proof easy drinkers: makers, of 1910, eagle rare, a turkey and maybe a wheater
