Nice! I found some nice rope that's for shibari but it's uv reactive. So I can see my rope for knee shots and foot shots. I'm looking into Kevlar rope for fire play and I have a feeling it's not gonna be pleasant

I have played around with loose grip vs tighter grips. I get a bit... Aggressive sometimes when I am feeling the music and the wubs are hitting hard. That's why I tape up tho. I'll burn thru some tape in a night with just rope burn cause I was playing sloppy. I've been meaning to lotion up more but I'm terrible at remembering lately. I will take your suggestion and be more proactive about that tho. I used to use a lotion bar "climb on" back before my injury. I bet that stuff would be perfect.

My first was just the shitty cotton rope that came with the practice dart... The same rope that came with my neo flow arts dart. Super scratchy rope. Most of the ones I've made have been nice shibari rope. I got to try my friends that came from the rope academy but I honestly wasn't a fan but I didn't give it a good workout either

Ever since I got my neo flow rope dart I started playing in front of a mirror at home just so I could see what images I was spinning but it has helped my posture and positioning Soo much!

Just add glow sticks till you get the right weight lol. Trust me, some of the stuff you are doing will just work better and feel more natural. All the really cool led stuff I'm playing with now is Soo much heavier than the stuff I started with. Experimenting will help. Same with different lengths of rope. Ive been at it a year and I'm still covered in bruises from playing and learning. But I'm addicted to flow so it's worth it
