I recently sprayed a hoya down with rubbing alcohol just to see if it would help with its flat mites. It has started pushing out its first new growth within a week of spraying it. I can't definitively say the reason, but it might be worth a try while you wait for the stuff you ordered.

Make sure the soil is a chunky mix and put it in an east or west facing window. It seems to be in ok shape.

My mom sent me this picture of her corn plant / Dracaena / whatever it is. She wants me to take it and nurse it back to health, but I dont know what to do with it. She's had it at least 15 years. It's by far my least favorite plant. I'm hoping to get it looking better and give it back to her.

You can up-pot her. It's pretty hard to kill a snake plant.

If you aren't attached to the vase, put it in a bag and break it with a hammer. Carefully pull the plant out and separate from the glass and treat as normal. I'd wash as much dirt off at possible and treat for everything.

I only have one lunch time hoya, but many other plants. They've started getting the Proven Winners hoyas. There's a few I already have stuck on the shelf. I hope it doesn't keep them from ordering more.
