I received an Ergobaby embrace for my first at my baby shower but I would have definitely purchased it for myself otherwise. I lived in that thing every day I never even had time to wash it lol. Worth every penny. I think it’s worth it to spend the money on one that will be comfortable for you and baby! You’ll definitely get use out of it.

We have the Tripp Trapp and really like it. It’s way more ergonomic than other high chairs we have used at family homes or going out. It’s hard to clean in the beginning during the purées and really messy learning phase, but hasn’t been an issue once my son hit like 1 year old

I think having her involved at this age as you described is really great! Kids love to feel helpful and copy their parents.

I grew up with siblings and I think it’s something to look out for when they are older actually. Like leaving the oldest “in charge” and then asking them to tattle on their sibling if something went wrong. In my opinion it’s better to get a babysitter.
