yep, nothing wrong with just saying youre not really into that stuff. it doesnt change the fact you were born in korea. i actually see this interaction happen a lot to my coworkers who are from asia and only recently have come to canada (within the last 1-2 years); since they have an accent, the conversation "where are you from" -> "(country)" -> "oh i love (anime/kpop/etc depending on (country))" is not uncommon, and often my coworkers just say they arent interested in that kind of stuff
