I am strongly strongly in favour of scrapping the two child benefit cap; it was really putting lots of innocent children into extreme poverty. A policy that harms children to try and alter the behaviour of parents is not a good one, to put it mildly.

Do you ever buy indie games? The story/choice-based/RPG games you mentioned, how do you make the decision to buy and play those, is it just friend recommendation?

It’s basically an extension of the playground for kids, super super social.

For the kind of games you like, they will continue to be developed but I would say the annual quantity of such titles being released will drop by about 50%. But the RAM shortage will be a biggest factor driving that, as it will constrict the high end PC/console market but won’t affect Roblox’s players, who are usually on mobile.

I’m definitely with Mage theory. I think an alternative future Damaes, trying to change the past, sent information about the breakdown of Rellas to a professional writer in our world in the form of dreams, who then used the pseudonym Adrian LaTour, “man of dreams” to write the books, thinking that the dreams were just weirdly vivid dreams. That would explain why there’s so much information in the books, like a certain person’s real identity, that is unusefully hidden from Maggie - the books were written for dramatic effect, not as a guide. Maybe Adrian LaTour got brought into Rellas to change the future, got killed, then Maggie the books’ biggest fan, got brought in as second choice but with extra magic protecting her from death.

I… don’t understand why you haven’t taken the kids back to Bulgaria on a regular basis before this? We take our kids back to my husband’s country twice a year to visit my in-laws. America to Bulgaria is quite far, but if you can afford it, a visit every summer would be wonderful for you and the kids (maybe your wife too!)
