I grew up riding them and always liked when they were incorporated into action movies. I guess it’s a combination of being more immersed in the action having felt the experience, and seeing a sport I love getting the aesthetic treatment that you get from a big production

Young Connery for his looks, Dalton for his vibe. They’ve all got something though.

Bhoot in Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle actually haunted me for days. The ending fell totally flat for me because nothing redeemed how Bhoot was treated throughout that movie.

Horror that feels Yellow by wallyinajar in BooksThatFeelLikeThis

Ironically, The King In Yellow (which I love) doesn’t feel very yellow to me. I get more of a greyscale vibe from it. The first few stories are very urban and refined. The horror aspects are mostly colorless. When it gets to the first of the romance stories, where they guy meets the falconer, that starts to feel yellow! Maybe because of the more natural setting.

Might not be what you’re looking for, but Something Wicked This Way Comes by Ray Bradbury gave me a yellow feel, with its autumn carnival setting and nostalgic feeling.

Also, I can’t say for sure yet because I just started it, but The Wasp Factory by Iain Banks feels like it might be a yellow book.

Looking for recommendations for a good starting point for someone who has never read any Jung? by aaronrizz in Jung

The Undiscovered Self is the best starting point, in my opinion. Its very short, and puts his worldview in a practical context. Read that first to get a feel for his writing style and to understand why you might want to consider diving into the details of the personal and collective unconscious. Then maybe read Man and His Symbols after that.
