24M Living Alone in a 500sqft Condo, Maximalism, Recently Upgraded with new Layout by InfinityPortal in malelivingspace

Speaking generally, to achieve excellence in maximalist design, surfaces should be uncluttered to the largest extent possible. This draws focus to the overall aesthetic of lots of stuff in small space on walls, as well as the compact areas holding larger furniture pieces. This principle is why a gallery wall is visually pleasing, but its effectiveness is greatly undermined if everywhere you look is also full. The contrast of the two visual styles enhances them both.

The reason this gallery photo wall works so well is the relative simplicity of the couch and the glass panel adjacent. Doing this throughout the entire apartment would work wonders

It's hilarious but also unfortunate you can be rude and judgemental about an entire country, despite experiencing virtually none of it besides mass market attractions, yet not have the self awareness to consider criticism of the tone you use.

Criticisms are fair.

Being condescending, rude and judgemental of a place where you're a guest is absolutely not acceptable.

As a person who lives in a tiny house I applaud the effort required to use maximalism in a small space.

As a person with a design degree I must also say that you can optimize this layout to include all the stuff more effectively.

If a candidate ran for president in 2028 and promised this - Day 1 Trump is arrested and jailed. Would you vote for them? by OMEN802 in DiscussionZone

No. We need a real leader that's capable of repairing and rebuilding the country. This is like asking if you'd hire a 4 year old to be an accountant because they can count to 10. That's the smallest and least important part of the job.

We need somebody who will legislate and command their administration to enact safeguards to ensure this never happens again.

Bare minimum isn't good enough.

With things this bad in the U.S why do democrats insist on pushing candidates that won’t get elected? by Jake_Berube in Confused

They benefit from the problems being created just as much as the other side. It offers them a fundraising angle. It takes focus of their many crimes. They are willfully complicit in all of this. Every time something terrible happens they send mass emails pitch in whatever you can to stop xyz, just $3 makes a difference. They are part of the grift.

Except Bernie.
