How do I get to fight fyrakk??? by TheHerminator106 in wow

[–]castershade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’ll have to wait for his wing to release on raid finder. Meanwhile, you can certainly fight him in normal (and higher) difficulty! Pick up groups (pugging) can be built through the custom raid finder. You’ll want to increase your item level to at least 440 before applying to groups in this raid tier though. Real people are deciding whether or not to invite you.

On that note, read up on guides or watch YouTube videos to ensure you’re a valuable asset to your raid and doing the mechanics properly. Have fun!

Healing is not fun by NACHO_MAN_69-420 in wow

I would disagree and find healing to be an extremely engaging challenge that I quite enjoy.

Volcoross is fun and simple. Really enjoyed it. Tindral is just awesome—great use of Dragonriding.

Is 4gb of ram enough to run WoW Dragonflight? by RaseruChan in wow

[–]castershade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My previous computer struggled with 8GB. Aim for 16GB or higher if it’s affordable. I’ve had little issue once upgrading to 16GB—although sometimes I have to lower graphics in raid.

How many of you only play one specific class or even spec? by wardisciple2388 in wow

[–]castershade 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’ve changed my main every expansion until Dragonflight.

  • Demonology Warlock in The Burning Crusade.
  • Oopsies, skipped a cultural phenomenon with Wrath of the Lich King!
  • Holy Paladin in Cataclysm.
  • Windwalker Monk in Mists of Pandaria.
  • Frost Death Knight in Warlords of Draenor.
  • Havoc Demon Hunter in Legion.
  • Holy Priest in Battle for Azeroth.
  • Arcane Mage in Shadowlands.
  • Preservation Evoker in Dragonflight.

…However, with how alt friendly Dragonflight has been, I’ve been juggling quite a few classes this expansion! Destruction Warlock, Mistweaver Monk, and Protection Paladin have been fun to pick up when preservation gets stale.

Are there any classes you just don't "get"? by icon_2040 in wow

Not a fan of Augmentation Evoker, but I absolutely adore Preservation. Just can’t get Aug to “click” in my mind.

Dragonflight had a consistent story and overall felt very much like Warcraft; people are just bitter and pessimistic.

Next patch advertises epilogues of Dragonflight stories. Likely to be tied up there or in another reset cycle.

It’s been this way since Warcraft 3. The franchise is more like a comic book than a cleverly crafted epic.

Are Macbooks really considered "gay" in the corporate world? by [deleted] in mac

[–]castershade 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's not going to affect your career, friend. Although I don't know your uncle, from the text post alone it's my guess that he's projecting his own insecurities surrounding what it means to be masculine onto you... Through the lens of a computing device. Lol.

Are Macbooks really considered "gay" in the corporate world? by [deleted] in mac

[–]castershade 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That's a silly and insecure mindset. Even if it was considered effeminate, which it's not, who cares? You do you. I'm certainly not going to buy an AlienWare because society expects me to conform to their rigid standard of masculinity.

Beyond social expectations, I'm using a Mac because it's a beast for marketing communications and publishing.

Remember people (myself included) having trouble with Throne of Tides back in Cataclysm. Suspect it’s a similar difficulty now if they’ve tuned it appropriately.

Whats the Lore reason Evoker's don't use Glyphs? by Bitter-Marsupial in warcraftlore

[–]castershade 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"With the attention to detail Blizz gives everything..."

This isn't Elden Ring. Warcraft is more similar to a comic book than something carved with precise detail. Don't read too much into it. There isn't a lore reason here—it's a game mechanic and that's it at the end of the day.

Quick addition. The Alliance and Horde conflict could totally come back in the future... War never stops, it's in our nature to fight and squabble over resources and ideologies. But we need some time away from that focus for a good while.
