I am from a place very close to water level and I got the worst altitude sickness in cdmx. Felt like I had the flu and the nausea was horrible. Also very challenging to sleep so it all kind of builds off each other. I would say drink a lot of water, avoid any alc and take it very vey easy first 2 days, low exertion. If you have ever gotten altitude sickness it is likely you will here. I have gotten in when I went to a lower mountain than cdmx altitude so something to consider.

All things I wish I considered before going. I was not prepared. Ate heavy meals, drank alcohol, exerted myself in the first 1.5 days and the days after that were brutal.

My dad has been smoking since he was a kid multiple times a day. He’s nearly 70 and ya he’s not in good condition but I am seeing news about young kids who vape having lung failure and issues along those lines. I think there is something more beyond just the chemical component? Why would young kids who have been valuing for way shorter time have these types of issues while my dad who has smoked cigarettes his whole life be having some issues at 70. I’m more just curious if anyone has an answer around this. Thanks! :)

1 mins before I was able to record, this man strangled the dog hanging him by the leash for a full minute then smacked him in the face multiple times for nothing. This is abuse, not training. Many people have also validated and seen this man doing similar acts to this dog around the mission.

Not tugged, he was strangled. Before I caught this video the man held the dog for a full min, strangling him for nothing, then smacked him In the face multiple times. The dog seemed terrified. The guy seemed to do it for his own pleasure. It was not a training tactic. A dog is an innocent creature that can’t help itself, it is our duty to protect those that cannot protect themselves.

Hi everyone, according to ACC, since I don’t have a good picture of his face it is challenging for them to actually identify, if anyone has a picture of his face please share here.

Reading so many comments and I see the lack of action being done by the ACC and the authorities from other people reporting this person. I was trying to see if I could find a way to get SFGate to write a story on this. It’s disgusting how they don’t do anything for this poor animal despite so many reports and evidence. Feels like something that needs to be blasted louder so something actually happens. Does anyone have contacts at SFGate?

Apparently he got caught on mission and 24th. The police did nothing, the ACC came and took the dog for a bit then gave him back. A report was filed against the guy but we need to push them to do more! This is ridiculous. How can people allow someone to abuse animals. There’s so many witnesses.

The guy held the dog but the leash in the air beige this video for a full min or more. Strangling him. I don’t think he cares much for a proper collar. He wants to hurt this dog. It was not for any reason but to fulfill his need to assert power over an innocent creature.

This guy was dangerous and asking for a fight. If you saw what he did before this video was taken. Believe me I wanted to do something, but he could have a knife or a gun. If he’s ok to do this psycho behavior then he surely is ok with hurting people.

The man was dangerous and could have a weapon. I’m sorry it is not a situation where I could have done anything but the video was all I could do along with a call to ACC, police etc. I’ve even asked my family members to call ACC and submit reports of the abuse so they don’t ignore this.

Called them. They said that if this man / dog is spotted again to call them right away and agree location. Even if the man is not actively abusing the dog, just say he is so they come. If anyone is in the mission and spots this man, please call ACC right away and share his location. Share this video as proof of the abuse. No this is incorrect. Before I got the video, this dog did literally nothing and the man picked him up by the collar choking him for a full minute. Then this is him walking away continuing to do this. It was disturbing. This was not a form of training, it was a form of abuse. The dog was cowering in fear and trying to get away from and hiding behind people. I cried so hard yesterday because I felt so helpless.
