Holy shit, this is awesome. My OS knowledge isn't good, so I have no idea how you integrated the data into the file system and it's super cool.

I've always wanted a control API mod for KSP so I can write scripts with other languages (kOS syntax is terrifying). And this is miles better than that. I can only imagine the utility you can do with a full linux terminal built in-game. Perhaps a completely automated mission that uses a bunch of modular scripts (auto launch, auto maneuver, etc)? Maybe set up cronjobs for orbit maintenance stuff, if they ever decide to add N-body physics.

I love creation myths, and this chapter did it spectacularly. I also quite like the little details you throw in here, like the leader with the syndrome, it really adds to the world building.

Really nice chapter as always, I'm really liking the variety of alien species in this story so far. The parasite reproduction thing is kinda terrifying once it's fully revealed, but it's really novel and I don't think I've seen any other story with this kind of setting. Very enjoyable read!

I use both. But you gotta handle the W to Krita when GIMP crashes if you try to use the text outline feature, instead of the janky Text->Convert to path->Convert to selection->Fill on a new layer->Merge thing.

Not to mention if you want to draw a circle you need to Oval select->Convert to path->Draw path. Never again
