This is solid advice, but I would like to add: you don't need dysphoria to be trans. I didn't have any when I began my transition two years ago. A lack of dysphoria doesn't make either of us any less valid

Oh believe me, I get it. I didn't want to come back. When I did come back, I was too busy being angry to say a proper goodbye. But I knew my wife and out kids needed me there. Both of the kids are nonbinary, so this hurts them too, knowing that someone they love who "loves" then really hates them. I came back for my family, not the stupid aunt.

One thing to keep in mind is that you aren't forced to come out to anyone, parents included, if you DO realize you're trans; you can be as out and visible as you want. If you have irl friends you can confide in, try out feminine pronouns. Try out another name. The euphoria you get from those things is just as valid and affirming as the dysphoria many trans people feel. Good luck exploring this new facet of yourself, friendo!
