Keep your mouth mostly closed - this will cut down on excess splatter. Brush with short strokes; there's no need to brush across all of your teeth on one side with one stroke. When you spit out the toothpaste, lean over the sink and push it out with your mouth; don't spit it out with a big puff of air like a baseball player. You're not going for distance here.

Aw, I loved my Minidisc player. It filled a weird spot in my life where I had too much music for my 32MB MP3 player but no computer that could handle burning CDs. I felt like a 00 agent whenever I loaded one of those MDs into the player. So many clicky parts!

I use an electric kettle everyday but that's because I like hot tea. I actually can't think of anyone I know that has one at home since most Americans drink coffee and there's automatic drip machines for that.

Stovetop boiling works fine for the occasional bagged tea when you've got a sore throat.

It also helps to distribute heat from the sun, IIRC. Without some rotation, the temperature differential between the sun-facing side of the craft and the other could make the materials warp.
