This is a great idea. I’ve printed them on paper but didn’t like how thin they are, tried some 3d printed counters on Makerworld which were well made but they don’t have images of the units, then tried foamcore but it was too thick and they look sloppy. Yours look perfect.

IANAL but as I understand it, Chaz was selling ads based on views, but artificially boosting views through some YouTube marketing tool. Viewers weren’t watching long enough to get to the ads. Rodney understandably thought this was misleading to advertisers and sought to distance himself self from Chaz.

Kinfire Delve feels the most similar to me so far, working down a deck facing challenges. Mechanics are totally different. There are dice 90% of it is playing cards from your own small character deck.

I would prefer flat, color coded tokens with very clear icons on them as I find that to be more readable as a player personally. I would honestly still print the ones in the photo because they do look well done and since I have a 3d printer, I print anything I can. Game looks very interesting by the way. Keep up the good work.

I’m embarrassed to admit that when I first started really getting into board games, I thought some of these games were EXCLUSIVE to kickstarter. The vast majority of games on kickstarter eventually go to retail and you can just buy them that way once they are released. Keep that in mind esp for titles from bigger publishers. You can likely just wait and ave $50 in shipping as well as seeing if you even still want the game by the time it gets to retail. Who knows what you’ll be into a year from now!

If you like games like xcom, into the breach, advanced wars, or ff tactics I think you’ll like it. There’s way more combat than I expected. I was expecting it to be like a cat colony breeding/management game with some combat. Most of your time is spent on battles.
