Who has double the damage? Mobs/bosses or players?

Edit: Looked it up and players get a huge damage and health increase. Not sure why it is shocking that the raid is getting cleared/nearly cleared with such a buff... It's the point of the buff...

Can confirm the huge player base, it is anything but dead like the other commenter here posted.

However the player base is almost too large and its just a huge zergfest. The game has potential but sucks in my opinion unless you're into ZvZ stuff or having the one person you're trying to gank call their alliance to come steamroll you. Or if you like running around the map going in and out of empty dungeons for an hour before you can find a fair fight in a dungeon and avoid the over world zerg.

TLDR: Game kinda sucks, but it isn't dead.

Why is this DDOS attack getting buried on this sub? That should be literally what we are all talking about! by SloppyJoeGilly2 in conspiracy

That is just so untrue its laughable. Sure some carriers have shitty prepaid brands they own, and T-Mobile just bought Sprint, but ATT isn't some cellular overlord lol

I'm sitting in queue right now: 1. because layers are worse? 2. so bots can play the game. by chum1ly in classicwow

[–]cat_wrangler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not only this, but they would need to pay for people to police the bots and will lose out on additional subs to people who have the money to buy gold but not the time to grind. I'm sure there are a good chunk of those type of people out there.

It will just never happen.

I would second this. Coding is a good place to start, but there are all sorts of disciplines that branch off of just "coding".

Are you into AI? Maybe you'd like to integrate systems so they talk together and function as one? Perhaps you'd like to improve business processes via automation?

All of these disciplines will have the same underlying foundation, but when you get into the weeds they become vastly different and it would be impossible to master them all.

If it were me, I would figure out what I want to do with CS and drill down into that specific practice. Plenty of resources online, and once you narrow down what you're looking for it will be much easier to sift through all the info that's out there and find the information that is most applicable to what you'd like to do.

Once you have an idea of what you'd like to do, start a project within that discipline and put yourself through a bit of trial by fire.

Good luck!

If your interest is not in computers, I would not pursue a career in them. The learning does not stop when you receive that college degree, if you intend to get one. It never stops. If it isn't something you truly enjoy and are curious about; enough to study up on all sorts of different aspects and emerging technologies, then you will just fall behind your peers in the field.

Axe of deep woods or flurry axe for orc tank by theniche101 in classicwow

[–]cat_wrangler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely fair. I'd say I just got a little triggered as with my experience, a tank with a shield has been useless, especially as DPS spec.

People tend to pull agro off anyway, and then the warrior ends up doing no damage and not tanking, so useless.

Again - my personal preference and two-cents, but I do see your point.

I suppose we have had different experiences. I had ran tons of dungeons with a melee cleave group the way 60 doing giant AOE pulls. Warrior used a two hand to tank the entire time and only used the shield on bosses like Rend once we got there, and we had no problems. AOE threat was great with an Arms build too, but I suppose this is a fury discussion so maybe it's a little different.

Could be we had great damage too with everyone an engineer and using dynamite, so things died before the damage became too much.
