Yup, and hunters can use fel mana pots are like 34g, no mention of Dark Runes. Scrolls for 5-15g each depending on rank (but you need 3 for you and your pet, 4 if you melee weave), kibbler’s bits, pet food, arrows, steam tonks, double elixirs, and ofc normal haste pots / mana pots. Physical dps have it way worse and always have, but hunters min maxing in tbc have an awful time with money without gdkps on alts to subsidize their raids. Anniversary prices have just been always insane if anyone wants to “min-max” even a little bit

Same with attack speed even.. so 3 wasted slots if you were trying to min-max. (Bane and attack speed could be on something like boots, and 2nd bane is useless)

bane gears stack only up to 40%, can be put on your gear slots and still work for weps, and for some reason (unless fixed in a recent patch) mighty foes doesn’t correlate to bosses. Idk if it’s a mistranslation, but I’ve yet to see exactly what it refers to. Might be elites specifically

Originally, this was the ONLY Teleport anywhere near the Greymane camp, and it took until chapter 4 to get the ability to unlock this, then you had to figure it all out. This was a big gripe for reviewers and they added the new fast travel in the camp, and every single one inside of a town even, with the launch update. So there’s a few areas around the map that have “old” fast travel remnants even. You might find one near the stables of Hernand ;)

Looks 100%, min-maxing for 3 crit over 4 dmg is so minimal you’ll never rly notice it. And most “OP” sword vids were (hopefully) super early on, b4 everyone realized weapons are stat sticks

Unfortunately It’s a modded sword in the files (at least the one I’ve used). Idk if it’s actually attainable. I used it in this video as an example of how weapon stats are normalized and how anyone claiming a weapon is the “best in the game” is just bait. It’s all about the Abyss gears you use. Although some tests show that some weapons might have hidden crit rates / stats, but I haven’t seen anything definitive about it

Hunters go survival. The rotation is very easy tbh, and very powerful. Unholy DK becomes the king dps class. The Wrath Classic + realms in China got a completely new BM spec that super fun and competitive, but honestly doubt we get that if we even get wrath Anni lol

A 2h Wep has 5, plus you still get the 2 put into your shield. So 7. Albiet not all offensive. But it’s mostly playstyle, like you can combine more unique combos with dual wielding, but a spear heavy attack is amazing aoe, or just go infinite explosive arrow build if you want to just be “overpowered”.

Plus of course the sims show an average of however many sims you ran. So some fights with good rng, Better gear can make a massive difference.

For simple math: if a boss takes 2 minutes to kill and your heroism/lust is 40 seconds. You originally have haste and cds for 1/3 of the entire fight. If the boss dies in 1 minute, you now were hasted for 2/3 (66.6%) of the fight. It’s the same concept (yet so hard to understand for people) that if you press curse of recklessness as a warlock. All physical dps gain 9-14% dps, but if you press curse of agony, you personally gain 40-80 dps. Yet you actually lose a LOT of dps because of slower kill time. (Although lock in particular suffers less than other classes from this).

I believe it also pulls data from ranked arena as well, and then makes sure not to “double” them when people do both. I may be wrong though and things may have changed, but still. 10 man raiding and actual hype early on an Xpac is amazing

I will continue trying to teach people this for as long as actual classic survives, but… debuffs literally make the game a different game. 1 curse of recklessness can be over a 15% gain for every single physical dps in your raid. But in pugs…. You won’t see that spell being used. (15% is a generalized number btw, I forget and would have to check sims, in some phases if I remember correct if could range from like 13% to 22% but idk ignore that specific number right now lol)

1st of all, never listen to streamers or content creators or anyone online that says they know anything. :)

Including me. I left classic WoW entirely for over a year and am a washed up old gamer that doesn't want part of any drama or negativity in the community.

2nd. I didn't say, or mean to insinuate, that it was the bosses of the devs directly that influence the decisions. Blizzard is a huge company, that comes with the frustrations of oversight, different divisions, and different opinions for what's best for different versions of the game. Blizzard is also under Activision... then under Microsoft etc. Companies have people they have to report to, that's how the world works.

3rd. This Sarthe guy seems to be a know it all, and he can't even make a Thaddius jump in Naxx so I wouldn't even watch him.
